I worked as a Community Manager for Tobii Dynavox, a subsidiary of Tobii, from 2018 to 2020. Tobii is one of Stockholm’s biggest tech companies. Tobii Dynavox develops, manufactures, and distributes speech-generating devices, eye gaze devices, and communication software for people with disabilities and special needs.
As a Community Manager, I was in charge of everything social media-related.
I was responsible for creating the social media strategy, managing the content calendar, creating textual and visual content, running the customer service and engaging with followers, advertising, and ensuring the KPIs were reached.
In addition, I was in charge of managing all social media platforms throughout various markets, including the US, UK, Canada, Scandinavia, Germany, France, Spain, The Netherlands, and other smaller markets.
I interacted with various audiences through a variety of channels. Social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, and LinkedIn were used for that purpose. Besides that, I was also in charge of Boardmaker’s social media channels. Boardmaker is a subsidiary of Tobii Dynavox.
It was a great job with a lot of responsibility, but it was also very rewarding to help and inspire people from all over the world. The team around me was also great. They frequently provided graphics, copy, and other materials to support me.
