Between 2014 and 2021, I was living in Sweden. This gave me a chance to explore different parts of the country. However, in Sweden, you don’t need to travel far to be surrounded by beautiful nature or cities.

The majority of the photos on this page were taken in the region of Stockholm and Uppsala, in the south and the middle of Sweden. The city of Stockholm is where all of the urban pictures were captured. The sunset and ladybird photographs were taken near Uppsala, where I was studying before.

Sweden has very bright summers and very dark winters. This makes every season of the year a very exciting time for taking photos. Since the days are so short in the winter, it is more difficult to photograph things in the daylight, but the orange glow makes up for that.
